    Description

"HITLER'S U-BOAT FORTRESSES" is a complete history of the German U-Boat pens in St Nazaire and Lorient, France. Massive, almost indestructible pens built by slave labor were starting in 1940. From those pens, U-Boats struck merchant shipping at will from the Mediterranean to the North Sea. Thousands of ships were lost. The entire story is all here! The pens survived WWII despite numerous attempts to destroy them! They are still there!
Book is softback published in 2005. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, measures 6" x 9" and contains 196 pages with several photographs throughout.
